Web3 TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER

Compensation: $45k - $80k *

Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United States

YOUR PURPOSE

The Technical Project Manager will provide project planning and manage the delivery of large scale, complex technical initiatives. He/She will act as a liaison between our infrastructure and software engineering teams to ensure that critical path items are well understood and prioritized and specific tasks are well coordinated. The Technical Project Manager will use organizational, project management and communication skills to connect dots, provide insights and lead initiatives to on-time and on-budget completion.

YOUR VALUE

  • Helping articulate and govern published priorities, identifying integration points and detailing key decisions.
  • Leading alignment discussions with business and technical architects and capability owners to ensure common understanding and next steps are understood across teams.
  • Analyzing, planning and developing requirements/plans for specific initiative workstreams.
  • Determining and defining clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for team members required for specific projects or initiatives.
  • Assigning and overseeing the daily tasks of technical team members while ensuring all members are actively working toward established milestones.
  • Holding regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects.
  • Reporting on initiative status and providing updates to senior management

YOUR EXPERTISE AND EXPERIENCE

  • Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies and methodologies
  • Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional programs/initiatives
  • Professional Project Management Certification from accredited institution preferred
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines
  • Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making and supervising team members
  • Strong knowledge of GitLab
  • Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting teamwork
  • Experience applying analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Strong interpersonal skills
