Web3 Senior Partner Solutions Architect, Blockchain

DESCRIPTION

AWS is looking for Solutions Architects to build an ecosystem of partners with software practices for blockchain solutions. This is a hands-on, technical position for someone who can dive deep,
build complex, AWS-optimized architectures, and develop a long-term strategy with AWS business development and service teams.

You must have a technical knowledge of some of the existing blockchain protocols and platforms, such as Hyperledger Fabric, R3 Corda, Consensys Quorum and Ethereum. Ideally, we're looking for someone who has experience building solutions for enterprise customers in verticals and startups that are exploring blockchain usage such as healthcare, finance and energy. Networking skills are required, and enterprise software engineering skills are preferred. Hands-on AWS experience is not required; however, you must have deep working knowledge of virtualized infrastructure platforms.

As the right candidate, you possess great communication skills and are technical, with the ability to interact with AWS customers at any level, from executives to developers. You will get the opportunity to work directly with senior engineers at both top software vendors and AWS service teams, influencing their roadmaps and driving innovation.

Job responsibilities

Define integration between partner solutions and AWS services, Partner with product team to develop new AWS services, help software companies in building their product roadmap, provide thought leadership to the industry about the application and direction of blockchain technology.

This position can be based in anywhere in the United States where we have major Amazon presence including Seattle, San Francisco, Austin, or other locations with a major AWS presence. Up to 30% travel is required.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related field of study OR 8+ years of professional or military work experience
· 8+ years within specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
· 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures
· Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients
· Experience with one or more Blockchain opensource: Hyperledger Fabric, R3 Corda and Consensys Quorum.
· 3 years of experience in Blockchain industry
· Experience with programming: Java, Python, Go or C/C++, Linux/Unix

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience with writing/debugging and deploying Chaincode or Smart Contracts
· Knowledge of Digital Assets, Smart Contract Oracles, Inter-operability, private/permissioned blockchains and sustainability
· Experience with platform security, scalability, and reliability
· AWS Certifications like AWS Solution Architect Associate/Professional.
· Previous work experiences as Consultant
