Web3 Financial Crime Investigator

Compensation: $36k - $87k *

Location: MA Kraków, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, Poland

We’re looking for a Financial Crime Investigator who would play a critical role in the cross-functional FinCrime team by keeping their fingers on the pulse in the ever-changing fraud landscape. Your primary responsibility will be to investigate FinCrime/Fraud cases and take appropriate actions to keep our customers, community and employees safe. You will be reporting directly to the Director of FinCrime.

Here’s what you’ll be doing as Financial Crime Investigator:

  • Review suspicious and fraudulent transactions and analyze the emerging or changing patterns;
  • Review fraud reports, current system performance and communicate findings to the team;
  • Support the Product team in preparing requirements for the new developments in FinCrime area;
  • Propose new system enhancements that would enable us to achieve targets set by the FinCrime team;
  • Interact with different teams and stakeholders within the organization and with external partners;

Here’s what we’d love from our new Financial Crime Investigator:

  • Some previous experience in FinCrime/Fraud Prevention area;
  • Excellent written and spoken English;
  • Good time management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks;
  • Very good Excel skills;
  • Capability to work independently with minimal or no supervision;
  • Understanding importance of data-driven approach in FinCrime area;
  • Ambitious candidate that is a quick learner and has an eye for detail;

Even better if you have:

  • Basic SQL skills;
  • Knowledge in Blockchain and CryptoCurrency field
