Web3 Accounts Payable Specialist

Compensation: $84k - $90k *

Location: New York City, New York, United States

Amun 21Shares is looking to hire an Accounts Payable Specialist to join its rapidly growing finance team in its New York City office.

Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts payable operations for the US and international entities
  • Record vendor invoices in the AP system and ensure proper coding, authorization and approval is in adherence to company policy
  • Identify and communicate invoice discrepancies to vendors/suppliers
  • Prepare and process payments in a timely manner
  • Review accounts payable aging reports and payment requests from vendors & employees to ensure timely approval of invoices and payments
  • Serve as the point of contact for any AP inquires, both internal and external
  • Manage the employee expense reimbursement process
  • Assist with monthly bank reconciliations and other financial account reconciliations
  • Support the accounting close process, in particular as it relates to the AP invoices, accruals, and payments
  • Support year end audits
  • Support other accounting/finance related projects/tasks

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related discipline preferred
  • 3+ years of experience with AP and general accounting
  • Experience in international transactions, global accounting, multiple currencies
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of accounting methods and financial close process
  • Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
  • Hands on attitude with strong analytic abilities
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to handle a diverse workload in a deadline driven environment
  • An interest in cryptocurrencies
