What We Do:

We are the fund managers of Uphold Investment Management, Ltd., a subsidiary of Uphold.  Digital Asset Alpha trades cryptocurrencies across centralized exchanges (CeFi) and decentralized exchanges (DeFi).  Our team has a background in high-frequency, quantitative trading and we create trading strategies that leverage automation.  We are looking for a developer to take ownership of our centralized trading platform.

How We Do It:

We use a variety of technologies: C++ for areas that require high performance, Go and Python as needed for general solutions, and NodeJS when required for specific integrations.  In addition, we utilize (My|Postgre) SQL, Redis, bash, Linux, etc.  Generally, we try to use whatever tool is best for the job, without letting the stack grow too complicated.

Requirements:

• Have at least five years of experience in software engineering
• Experience with trading systems or large complex codebases
• Significant professional experience in at least one of our core languages: Go, Python, or C++
• Experience or excitement to act as a team lead with significant ownership of the group’s efforts
• Effective communication skills; a positive, team player
• Significant experience in automated testing frameworks, continuous integration, and test-driven design
• Experience using Git in production environments
• Comfort working in an agile, fast-moving, iterative software development process
• Ability to be highly effective in remote-first environment
