Let’s go!Your mission As a lead product designer based in Vienna, you bring strategic design leadership skills and are fundamental in shaping the future of financial independence for millions of customers. At Bitpanda, we’re removing the barriers to access new opportunities for wealth generation, and you’ll deliver remarkable and effortless experiences to entry and keep up with the financial playing field, empowering people to make their financial freedom a reality. Your work week will be a mix of ensuring the quality of design projects, and designing different parts of the trading experience. What you’ll do 

Influence and oversee experience design projects for our broker that span across many teams and are determined to the overall business health and growth. You do so with limited guidance, weighing in on strategic business decisions and leading conversations around our experience vision. Own projects and UX initiatives from start to finish, including running design sprints and collaboration sessions to understand and explore customer problems, sketching, wireframing, low and high fidelity prototyping, user testing, and leading stakeholder reviews. Support leadership whilst playing a key role in growing the team's capabilities,  mentoring through collaboration and design critiques. Build strong relationships and partnerships with delivery partners, in our trading solution, focused on mid- and long-term product opportunities Contribute to the growth and consistency of the quality of our products’ experience by improving and adding to our design system; Help other disciplines understand the business value of design, by shipping experiences that are measurable towards Bitpanda’s vision and strategy; 

Who you are 

Generalist UX design skills, including strong UX research or content design abilities, and can handle projects with minimal direction. Engage in strategic project discussions considering the holistic customer experience and insights. Strategically break down complex problems and iteratively validate assumptions, you collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, timelines, constraints, and priorities. Continuously build knowledge of customer problems by conducting investor-facing studies and seeking feedback from peers in various disciplines. 4+ years of experience collaborating closely with product and engineering peers to ship engaging experiences and excellent command of spoken and written English. (German is a plus.) State-of-the-art workflow with current industry-standard tools like Figma, Miro and JIRA, and experience in using and contributing to design systems;  What’s in it for you
