You’ll Report To: General Manager
A typical day as a Director of NFT Strategy & Operations might include:
  • Oversee long term NFT strategy, program management, and execution:
  • Design 1-3 year NFT and digital art strategy and roadmap that aligns with larger business goals and meets revenue targets
  • Ensure strategy is integrated with overall Saatchi Art business and leverages synergies with core services and offerings
  • Brainstorm an NFT platform that allows creators to manage their level of token utility including access, phygitals, unlockable content, royalty levers, and more
  • Design token and smart contract behavior that ensures a proper royalty and commission structure, while ensuring sovereign ownership for the creator
  • Keeping abreast of latest blockchain trends to ensure drops and/or platform are maximizing benefits of latest web3 technology (eg Layer2)
  • Work closely with product and design teams to execute the product vision for artists and collectors. Assist teams to brainstorm, design, and build products – from concept through to launch – driving the feature through the entire development cycle
  • Work with PR/Marketing and Community manager to design full communications strategy to support initiatives
  • Work closely with NFT curator to secure sufficient, high-quality inventory for drops or other digital art initiatives
  • Oversee all NFT-related reporting and data analytics including transactional and KYC
  • Managing and executing NFT drops and brand partnerships
  • Oversee partnership pipeline and outreach: Identify ideal targets for drops, present pitch decks and proposals to key brands
  • Collaborate with digital curators to design drop concepts that appeal to both art enthusiasts and crypto natives, ensuring the art offering is high quality and communicates value
  • Brainstorm token and smart contract behavior that would differentiate the project from other drops in the space and stay up to date on trends to ensure timely drops
  • Work with Finance to devise strategy for mint price/quantity, presale planning, sales format (eg reservation, auction), and forecast overall economics of any given drop
  • Collaborate with other Leaf Group partners to create token utility and incentive campaigns for collectors
  • Serve as a “chief of staff” to the General Manager on all NFT matters:
  • Attend and participate in daily standup, brainstorm sessions, presentations or speaking engagements related to NFTs
  • Assist in recruiting and/or interviewing candidates for NFT roles
  • Help marketing devise strategy and tactics to build excitement and FOMO around a given drop

What You Have:
  • Experience launching NFT drops and/or building Web3 products - familiarity with smart contract requirements, decentralized web app (eg wallet integration), general strong understanding of Web3 uses and behavior
  • Strong analytics experience and familiarity building revenue forecasts, ROI models, sensitivity analyses
  • Knowledge and understanding of the product development stages and process, and the technologies involved in web and application development
  • Strong leadership skills and initiative, ability to work both independently and interact with executive management, and other staff members
  • Self-driven, entrepreneurial mindset.

  • Bachelor’s of Science Degree, Business Degree, or equivalent experience
You’ll be successful if you are a highly-motivated, team player with a passion for building great user experiences that bridge Web 2 and 3. As a member of the Saatchi Art team, you will define and drive the vision and product requirements through execution of features on the roadmap.
