Web3 Head of Creative Production

Compensation: $56k - $90k *

The Role:

Autograph is looking for a Head of Creative Production to manage Autograph’s production of creative work, done both in-house and using external creative resources. This will include managing the day-to-day of creative production budgets and schedules and into the build of industry-leading digital and VFX-level assets with exceptional quality, efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

Production Management

  • Responsible for the daily management of production for Autograph’s creative team in coordination with the creative direction established by Autograph’s Head of Creative and business direction established by Autograph’s Head of Business Affairs
  • To assess and manage production needs by optimizing the balance between the use of in-house creative studio resources and external creative agencies/digital artists for the production of the highest-level creative assets
  • Key point of contact for creative production issues arising in and escalating issues and recommendations to HBA and COO
  • Primary responsibility for all things efficiency and effectiveness of the production and delivery of creative assets in support of the creative direction of Autograph as determined by its Head of Creative up to the CEO
  • Responsibility for monitoring production tools and workflows in partnership with Autograph’s Head of Creative
  • To meet regularly with all relevant stakeholders within Autograph to monitor project budgets and to ensure that they are within approved guidelines
  • To engage in production team mentoring, support and training

Budgetary Control

  • Responsible for working with HBA and or COO to establish approved budgets at start of project
  • Monitoring project costs in line with production progress and overall budgetary targets
  • To meet regularly to monitor project budgets and ensure that they are working within given targets

Additional Responsibilities

  • Act as a VFX Producer as needed
  • Project crewing needs and costs for all VFX projects
  • Joint responsibility with business development staff for new business meetings and bidding for creative resources, digital artists and creative production.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of production experience.
  • Proven experience as a VFX Producer on Advertising, Television and Feature Film Projects
  • Must have strong scheduling, tracking and resource management skills, optimally software based
  • Thorough understanding of VFX production pipelines and post production in general
  • Ability to manage and cater to clients
  • Ability to balance financial responsibilities with client and company expectations
  • Ensure communication among the production team and senior management.
  • Experience leading teams of at least 20 people.
  • Extremely organized and proficient overseeing multiple project schedules.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and with strict deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of the Los Angeles VFX Market
  • Experience recruiting freelance artists and production staff

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Entrepreneurial spirit and team oriented.
  • Sports, entertainment or tech industry experience.
  • Knowledge of NFT space.
