Web 3.0 is the next wave of technology breakthroughs to revolutionize human society, with key pillars being decentralized finance (DeFi), NFTs, Metaverse, and decentralized autonomous organization (DAO). The space is growing at breakneck speed with enormous growth potential in years to come.

We originally came from the Metaverse with a trending top 15 NFT project on OpenSea called CryptoGOGOs that developed into GOGO Protocol, which is constructing the most user-friendly open source DeFi protocol for asset management and savings. The genesis came from the idea of merging the power of NFTs with a DeFi protocol that is as user-friendly as world-class FinTech apps. To further expand yield-generating opportunities for our users we realized that we lacked direct integration into a native money market. So we decided to build one from scratch.

The 0VIX Protocol is built by a global team of 35+ professionals, spread across 3 continents, with deep Crypto/DeFi expertise and with roots in banking, finance, tech, arts, entertainment, and gaming, as well as more than 10 years of experience in building multi-billion dollar tech companies such as N26, Consensys, Binance, Deutsche Bank and Sovryn.

Tasks

  • Work with a select group of our existing and new strategic partners to create and execute cooperative programs that mutually drive growth
  • Identify key areas of new, strategic opportunities for product growth.
  • Develop and maintain a framework for “build, buy or partner” analysis and manage the process for product expansion through execution of identified business priorities
  • Creatively launch rewards and strategize with marketing on launch campaigns
  • Manage the business development pipeline and communicate regularly with partners
  • Bring marketing ideas to the table, with an extensive product and data-driven approach to planning and prioritization.
  • Build an ecosystem of strategic partners where you own the process from initiation and due diligence to negotiation and closing
  • Identify co-branding / co-creation partnerships for us that will ultimately add value and drive customer acquisition.
  • Undertake continuous research and maintain a high level of knowledge around all aspects of the web3 sector, monitoring current and predicting future trends.

Requirements

  • Business development or Partnership Manager with 3+ years experience (Partner Management + Product Strategy experience highly valued)
  • Alternatively: At least 5-7 years of working experience as a business or product-focused manager in finance, global business development, partnerships, consulting, crypto or apps-related business(es)
  • An existing network across the web3 landscape, from other DeFi protocols, emerging projects to investors and VCs.
  • Strong passion for crypto, DeFi and technology
  • Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to influence teams and individuals
  • Project management experience
  • Strong sense of ownership, curiosity, and an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Empathetic, collaborative, and flexible working in high-pressure fast-paced environments
  • Entrepreneurial mind-set, who can transform complexity and uncertainty into business impact
  • A fast-learning, detail-oriented and creative individual
  • Ability to understand and break down processes of complex technical and economic structures
  • Outstanding communication, leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work well under tight deadlines, which may include working outside of business hours
  • Fluent or Business level English
