Web3 Senior Product Manager, Identity, Trust, & Safety

The Product team uses creativity, insights, and operational excellence to steer our product vision across Pagoda and the NEAR Ecosystem. This team of designers, open source advocates, and product managers work in a highly collaborative environment to build the products and experiences that bring our community together in new and special ways.

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to drive critical Identity, Trust, & Safety efforts that help our teams keep NEAR safe for our community. As a PM on the Identity, Trust, & Safety Product team, you will be at the center of Trust & Safety and Integrity work; prevention, detection, enforcement, measurement. Working cross-functionally across the company, you will be tasked with optimizing team productivity by iterating on existing tools and processes and developing new ones. Your work will result in streamlined workflows, improved processes, and ultimately, a better experience for Web3 users everywhere. This is an influential and strategic role within the organization and broader open source ecosystem.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Develop goals, strategy and roadmaps for the Identity, Trust, & safety area
  • Set metrics that inform the success and impact of safety efforts
  • Lead cross-functional teams and open-source projects to build tools that help our teams become more efficient and effective
  • Work closely with the data, protocol, and application engineering teams to drive day-to-day execution against OKRs
  • Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional partners across Product, Customer Operations, Legal, Engineering, Security and Data Science.
  • Closely monitor and measure results of all features and infrastructure improvements
  • Develop and present go-forward recommendations with key stakeholders

What We're Looking For:

  • Ability to deliver exceptional results in an intense but collaborative and thoughtful environment
  • Ability to work cross collaborate with engineers, policy, data scientists, and other cross-functional teams
  • Excellent critical thinking skills and a proven ability to solve challenging problems
  • Ability to make timely decisions without clear direction or all the information at all times
  • Ability to deliver exceptional results in an intense but collaborative and kind environment
  • A team player who can collaborate with engineers, policy, data scientists, and other cross-functional teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design or related field is a must
  • Ideally 3-5+ years of product management, data science or program management experience at a technology company

We'd Love If You Have:

  • A passion for safety and Web3
  • Trust & Safety or related meaningful experience
  • Experience building large scale review tools and infrastructure
  • Understanding of Open Source

Here’s What Our Interview Process Looks Like:

Depending on calendar availability, from the first stage to the final stage, we do our best to keep the entire process to under three weeks. Our interviews take place via Zoom and typically consists of the following stages:

  • Internal Recruiter Call (30 to 45 minutes)
  • Meet with the Hiring Manager (30-60 minutes)
  • Product Interviews (3 x 30-60 minutes)
  • Pagoda Values Interview (30 to 45 minutes)
