Web3 Associate Director, Events & Sponsorships

Wachsman is now seeking an experienced Associate Director, Events & Sponsorships to join our team.

We are remote in the United States and are open to candidates located anywhere in the United States. We have offices in Los Angeles, New York City, and Washington, DC, for those who are interested in a hybrid model.



Duties:

  • Own the delivery of Wachsman's events services from end-to-end, creating the best strategic
  • opportunities fro Wachsman and our clients
  • Understand the businesses and industry of our clients, and develop custom event strategies to align with client-specific goals and ROI.
  • Provide day-to-day hands on support &/or management of key clients' strategy, budget, sponsorship activation, logistics, networking, media, and marketing initiatives
  • Negotiate contracts, secure opportunities, products, and services based on clients' needs
  • Accountable for all aspects of event services, taking ownership to ensure goals are met and high-level standards are upheld

Skills & Requirements:

  • At least 7 years of relevant experience in event planning and sponsorship activation
  • Proven track record of executing high-level corporate events, sourcing sponsorships, and developing strategic partnerships
  • Superior customer service skills with previous client relations experience
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to comprehend and manage fluctuating budgets
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively
  • Ability to manage multiple high-profile projects with tight deadlines
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Roll-up your sleeves attitude to achieve desired results
  • Personable, patient, and proactive when dealing with clients and vendors
  • Deep immersion and understanding of crypto, blockchain, tech, and Web3 preferred
  • This role will require travel throughout the year
