Cardstack is building the collaborative OS for Web3. We are looking for a technical writer to prepare, review, revise, and maintain documents in the areas of systems engineering, open-source software, cryptocurrencies, DeFi, NFTs, and DAOs. We are a team of experienced technologists and designers devoted to bringing Web2 software architecture into the Web3 era of protocols. As a technical writer, you will work with our talented team to gather and analyze technical and product information from various sources, so as to document new or changing product functionality.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with members of our global, cross-functional marketing team to create world-class technical content focused on building a thought leadership presence for Cardstack
- Write technical articles based on interviews with developers and product leads
- Produce and support high-quality technical documentation that is appropriate for a developer audience
- Create a wide variety of content, including (but not limited to) docs, manuals, white papers, glossaries, blogs, books, tutorials, videos, and more
Requirements
- Excellent written skills in English
- Proven technical writing experience
- Experience writing blog posts, tutorials, guides, API docs, and sample apps
- Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
- Experience with blockchain is a plus
- Experience working directly with engineering teams on a product for a technical audience, such as DevOps, developers, or scientists
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent preferred
- Strong attention to detail and excellent teamwork skills
