Product Strategist Cx/Ux

I'm looking for a team that values user feedback and wants that feedback to inform feature choices in a product that solves a real problem for an identified audience.

I enjoy leading multi-disciplinary teams to stretch beyond themselves and project goals to build meaningful and successful software products. Bringing human-centered design principles into product strategy on every project.

My background in team management, teaching at Humber College, programming (front-end), design, CX/UX, and usability, directly informs my ability to make meaningful contributions to any team or project.

A few results from 20 years of design strategy:

- Conceived, planned, and built an engine of ongoing user insights to directly inform the value of features built into a marketplace with millions of dollars in daily transactions.

- Achieved first organic result for a retail store’s top brands – a SEO campaign success that lasted years.

- Created online materials that drove donations for an educational charity – for a year over year increase of 150%

- Planned, designed, and built a mobile app that helped sell hundreds of tickets for an NHL team.

- Strategized and built a web app foundation that is still used a decade later for a community of over 10k members

- Built an interactive sales tool for a team of hundreds, used by one of America’s largest ATM software providers.

- Guided hundreds of businesses to improve their online materials to educate, inform, and drive the right audience to the right service.

Other random facts: I was named Schools Without Borders Volunteer Of The Year in 2010. I created & co-published a book named A Face A Name with local artist reps Well And Good in 2011.
