I am a privacy and security enthusiast and a self-taught developer. I graduated from ZSEM in Nowy Sącz, ranked as one of the best technical high schools in Poland, where I earned state professional certifications in Website & Database Administration and Application Design, Programming & Testing (INF.04).

My programming journey began around 2016, when as a young teenager I decided to create my own video game, which I never fully finished. I started with the Unity engine, then moved to C++, and eventually transitioned to web technologies - HTML, CSS, JS, PHP, and MySQL.

Around 2020, I joined the Wulkanowy project (https://github.com/wulkanowy) - the largest unofficial mobile app for Poland's most popular electronic gradebook. Because the official app was poorly designed, Wulkanowy gained massive popularity among students and parents, even surpassing the official app on Google Play at its peak. This community was where I truly kicked off my skills. During this time, I also started freelancing as a side-hustle, creating landing pages in WordPress, e-commerce stores on WooCommerce, Discord bots and automation scripts. Simultaneously, I developed an interest in privacy and cybersecurity, specifically in end-to-end encryption and cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Monero.

I am also a Linux enthusiast. Even while primarily using macOS, I experimented with many distributions, like Manjaro (which I daily-drove for around a year), Ubuntu, Arch, Artix, and Fedora. Currently, I am daily-driving NixOS on Apple Silicon alongside GrapheneOS on my phone, prioritizing a declarative, secure and private workflow. I actively update my NixOS configuration on GitHub and documented an installation guide (https://github.com/pengwius/nixos-config).
