Hey, I'm Pedro and I learned how to code by myself when I was 12 years old.

1992: Started with QBasic and TurboPascal back in the days. Had no books or internet, so I learned just by trying to understand code written by other people.

1993: I was a coin collector as a child and coded a software to store all the data from my collection.

1994: Installed my first Linux OS, which I got from a floppy disk on a programmers magazine.

1995: Tried to learn Assembly to crack video games just for fun. 

2004: Graduated as a civil engineer and worked full time up to 2012. Always liked to code all my calculation tools learning the skills as needed. Mainly VBA for excel.

2011: I started a Masters Degree in Innovation and Technology where I learned C/C++ (creating a video game), XML, XSLT, HTML, CSS, XSL, SQL and PHP.

2012: I entered the trading world which I still do. During this year I also learned how to code for Windows Phone.

2014: I bought my first BTC (which I regret selling later for a ridiculous small profit).

2015: I won a Forex trading competition.

2016-2019: I coded custom trading robots in MQL4/MQL5 as a freelancer.

2018: I took the Stanford's Machine Learning course.

2020: I started a trading education project. Had to learn Wordpress, Laravel and some Javascript to code my own websites.

2021: I learned Machine Learning with Python.

2022: I'm diving into Web3/Blockchain/Crypto programming and would like to be part of a cool team working on an interesting project. Learning Solidity/Blockchain/Python at the moment and will be happy to expand my skills as needed.

When I'm not working, I like to do hiking/trekking, mountain biking, play guitar and drink some beers.
