Dear reader,

my name is Steven and I have 7+ years of running and building software companies. My focus is on blockchain DAPPs and APPs, especially private smart contracts. Even though my primary skill is set to CTO, I would be very happy to join a team as a developer.

Experience / Achievements:

1. btn.group: Founder / CTO
2021 - Now
  • Created btn.group and launched our own token ($BUTT) on the Secret Network with a peak FDV of $14,000,000 USD.
  • Created Button Swap: A DEX aggregator for the Secret Network, the most used DAPP on the Secret Network to date.
  • Created multiple other APPS and DAPPS on the Secret and Near Networks:
    • Block Locker: a DAPP that lets users store their wallet keys, and when required, allows a designated third party to unlock their locker so that they can access it. 
    • Address Alias: a DAPP that lets users associate a wallet address with an alias.
    • Smart Contract Interface: a web interface to interact with Near and Secret Network smart contracts.
    • Password Manager: A DAPP that lets users manage their passwords via Secret Network's private smart contracts.
    • Transactions Viewer: for Secret Network's privacy tokens.
    • Yield Optimiser Pools: allows users to automatically convert their farmed tokens into staking tokens.
    • Profit Distributor Pool: allows users to stake $BUTT to collect fees from Yield optimiser pools.
    • Mount Doom: a smart contract where users can burn their SNIP-20/NFTs on the Secret Network. Makes it easy to prove a private token has been burnt.
    • BUTT Lode: a smart contract with time restrictions to store BUTT to be used for community purposes.
    • Silk Pay smart contract and demo app: commissioned by Shade Protocol, it enables users to send high-value transactions safely.
    • Limit Orders: In the process of improving and polishing a decentralized limit order book that's integrated with Button Swap.
2. Ezyraise: CTO
2019 - 2021
  • Ran the full stack for the company.
  • Successfully built and deployed many new features.
  • Advised the CEO on the staffing requirements needed to expand the company.
  • Played a major role in hiring and training a UI/UX designer and 2 senior developers.
  • Coordinated major upgrades of the entire system.
  • Coordinated and assisted in pen testing.
  • Credit to the CEO, Brett, for his calm and level-headed leadership.
  • During my tenure there, the company had record profits and saved a lot of time and money on operational expenses as I fine tuned the AWS requirements for the company. This also improved the experience for both staff and users during launch days as I helped educate and coordinate devops requirements during those times.
