Your Mission

• Support Ad Hoc projects inclusive of new products, new entities, process improvement, automation, regulatory and external audit reviews with a focus on retail and our corporate platforms
• You will report directly to the Director of Transformation but have your priorities and deliverables defined by key stakeholders including the Corporate Controller, Assistant Controller, and Head of Accounting
• Contribute to various systems implementation projects from concept through execution
• Recommend and implement process improvement initiatives to increase effectiveness and productivity
• Identify areas for improvement and control enhancements across the finance and accounting functions

Your Expertise

• 8+ years of total experience in a major Public Accounting Firm and/or a large, multinational company in similar capacity is required
• Bachelor's Degree required
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required
• Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced environment, in an ambiguous and developing structure
• Track record of meeting tight working deadlines, and prioritizing workload are essential
• Experience working at a Big 4 is a plus
• Demonstrated experience in external financial reporting and analysis with a strong knowledge of SOX practices.
• Must have strong accounting skills and up-to-date knowledge of the financial services companies including, but not limited to, working knowledge of derivatives, fair value, investments, and loan accounting
• Experience on listed financial services, banking and/or trading clients is preferable.
• Interest in cryptocurrency markets is required, though previous experience is not
• Strong interpersonal, analytical and communication skills necessary
• Demonstrated track record of working with multiple stakeholders
• Ability to interpret complex technical accounting issues and implement practical solutions
• Proficient in financial modeling in Microsoft Excel
