LHH is hiring a Web3 Vice President, Sponsorships and Content (Fund Manager)

LHH teams up with a global investment organization in search of a VP who will synthesize with the company's executive leadership team on all aspects of event programming, thought leadership and sponsorship. Candidates must possess a strong knowledge of financial markets and the fund manager universe in the investment management space. This VP will lead a Programming/Content team through the development of major conference structures, seminars, content preparation and panel origination for multiple global/domestic conferences. Lots of moving parts and things can super last minute change--someone who is comfortable with fast-paced and reactive response is super key in addition to 8+ years experience in content development, programming, and event execution. Comfort with preparing scripts for the organization's leadership is an additional responsibility for this role. The team supporting this VP builds advisory boards, designs/produces/edits the on-site materials and conference content and provides support for programming the organization's symposium. In addition to overseeing the content builds, the VP in tandem will actively manage sponsor engagement and actively seek out the most innovative and compelling program speakers.
This role is full time scheduled to sit hybrid in office on Monday, Wed, and Fri with Tue and Thurs working remotely.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in finance or journalism highly favored
- 8+ years of programming, sales, marketing and/ or communications experience, preferably within the financial services or private sector
- Experience developing and executing programming for events focused on the financial services space and a solid understanding of the allocator and fund manager universe
- A good understanding of the financial services industry and a history of effective communication with investors, regulators, and/or clients
- Demonstrated ability to manage a team and work in a highly collaborative manner with tact and ability to creatively solve problems using excellent interpersonal skills
