Overseeing the technical transition following VICE's Chapter 11 bankruptcy, for a successful and smooth closure of the DACH headquarters.

Certified subject-matter expert: Ideated and implemented creative workflow strategies with the global team from ingest through final delivery of video assets. Continually evaluated and implemented changes to optimise future strategy and cloud systems. Responsibility for $6 million Opex and Capex budget and accomplished a $1.5million annual savings or ~30+% in operational infrastructure costs and significant reduction in Capex forecast. Built, blueprinted and launched complex, transformation project plans for the Media Operations Group, collaborating cross-functionally to ensure key metrics, budgets and stakeholder expectations were met as well as learnings were documented for continual process optimisation. Established and maintained a robust project archive of system requirements, designs, acceptance testing and as-built documentation to ensure global business continuity of systems, infrastructure and process implementation.

Provided strategic leadership, guidance and support to the DACH Executive team to resolve complex technical issues. Identified, architected and implemented efficient solutions for internal and external workflows for teams and client communication. Cross-functionally collaborated with global Media Tech and IT to create a global video production network. Managed and mentored a global team of 9 including IT, Post Production and Equipment.

Increased post-production output by 300% in 12 months, resulting in accelerated project timelines and sustainable brand growth. Built the DACH region’s first-to-market, redundant 200 TB post-production system which preserved valuable digital assets at a low cost, resulting in significant cost savings. Led and total production for 120+ broadcast TV shows for the German market. Managed and mentored a team of 7 in Post Production.

Edited a broad spectrum of video in fashion, sports and music. Work included commercials, documentaries and TV content.

Established a strong foundation for video production success by creating thorough workflow documentation and specifications.
