Protocol Engineer

Protocol engineer focused on distributed systems, consensus, and P2P networking. I contribute to blockchain core infrastructure in Rust and Go - Lighthouse (Ethereum consensus client), Foundry, and Cosmos EVM - with merged PRs including peer penalties and error handling for Gloas P2P payload-envelope gossip (Lighthouse #8981) and interactive keystore-overwrite protection in `cast wallet new`(Foundry #13679), plus a benchmarked performance optimization to Cosmos EVM's GetAccount (#1203). Comfortable across Rust, Go, and C/C++, with a working knowledge of consensus protocols (LMD-GHOST, HotStuff, Narwhal, PBFT) and hands-on P2P/gossip experience. CS student at Chungnam National University; member of OraKle (KAIST blockchain club) and an active hackathon builder. Open to remote protocol/infrastructure roles — internship or contributor. Based in South Korea (KST).

Added peer penalties and explicit error handling for payload-envelope gossip per the Gloas P2P spec (#8981, merged).
Open Source Contributor
Foundry
2026 - 2026
Co-authored interactive confirmation logic preventing keystore overwrite in cast wallet new (#13679, merged).
Open Source Contributor
Cosmos EVM
2026 - 2026
Removed a redundant LockedCoins store read in GetAccount by consolidating balance and locked-coin lookups into a single helper; ~2.3% faster sequential execution and ~3-4.5% fewer allocations, benchmarked with statistical significance (#1203, under review).
President
ANA - Algorithm Club, Chungnam National University
2026 - 2026
Led a 240-member club; designed curriculum and coordinated mentoring across all levels. Launched a weekly technical seminar and organized 3 competitions, including a multi-university algorithm event.
Member
OraKle - KAIST Blockchain Club
2026 - 2026
Developed the Solidity smart contracts and Python AI-agent backend for Helm, an on-chain AI-agent-managed fund (Mantle Turing Test Hackathon 2026), featuring on-chain agent reputation, REIT-style yield distribution, and a rug-resistant subordinated-founder structure.
