Led architecture, implementation, and release of real-time Node.js messaging service on distributed auto-scalable AWS infrastructure, handling millions of events per second w/ <200ms end-to-end event distribution time, allowing the growth of the organization to hundreds of thousands of additional users. Pioneered development of new CI/CD pipeline and infrastructure, decentralizing 30+ microservices across the org.

Managed 20 people across 3 teams (Admin, Compliance, Apps/Bots) in-person, remotely, and across time zones. Established standards for resilience, performance, stability, alerting, logging, and testing of microservices.

Architected and developed React/Redux implementation for primary Symphony client released to >500,000 users. Led design and coordination of frontend engineering in Admin Portal upgrade from Backbone.js to React / Redux. Solely designed and developed the Support Portal in React/Redux to enable real-time customer support.

Developed dynamic multi-core web-worker cryptography algorithm, improving client CPU performance by 90%. Led development of internal JS / CSS libraries to improve consistency and reduce redundancy across client apps.

Led SQL DB migration, website upgrade, cloud-based accounting system to modernize company infrastructure. Automated manual tasks using Zapier webhooks for Mailchimp, LinkedIn, and Hipchat OAuth integration. Increased email list 300% to >1,000 recipients through developing product strategy & responsive email templates.

Led SQL database migration: >100,000 songs between EMI Records’ and EMI Music Publishing’s databases. Developed cross-application XML specifications leading to a 95% increase in speed of EMI’s registration process.
