Towards the backend of 2020 myself, and two colleagues, put together a proof-of-concept venture fund. As students at the time we suffered capital constraints and were only looking for ticket sizes between $10k-25k. As our ticket size was so minimal it struggled to warrant the attention of the projects we were interested in investing in. As such, we had to find an alternative source of value that would guage their interests. In early 2021 we started building up a network of student blockchain enthusiasts in the UK. This network grew rapidly and caught the attention of the Blockchain Education Network (BEN) who approached us and asked us to run their European branch. Before we knew it we had built up a strong student network of blockchain enthusiasts, and this network became our value. Projects would display interest in our network for recruitment/research/testing purposes and in return would provide us with allocation to their project. After 2 years, we have invested over $220k of principal capital across 11 projects. This was a massive learning process, and one that I enjoyed thoroughly.

Upon graduating from University I was approach by someone starting up a DeFi Yield fund who asked me to work alongside him in helping him get it off the ground. For the last 6 or so months, I have been helping him put together delta-neutral yielding strategies that would mitigate risk whilst reaping the high APY rewards. 

As I now look to move on, I heed a role that will be mentally stimulating and perhaps something that allows me to leverage my existing knowledge and experiences. I am comfertable working in an analyst role and researching investment strategies, although I am open to trying something new should a positive oppotunity arise.
