Software Engineer | Blockchain & Smart Contracts | Backend Systems

I’m an engineer with a background in industrial automation, backend systems, and blockchain development, focused on building software that is reliable, explicit, and grounded in real-world constraints.

I started my career in industrial automation and controls engineering, delivering production-critical systems for automotive manufacturing across Europe. These were environments where failures were not theoretical — downtime, unclear logic, or incorrect state transitions had immediate real-world impact. That experience strongly influences how I design software today, particularly smart contracts and distributed systems.

Over the last years, I’ve worked as a full-stack developer and blockchain engineer, designing backend systems, Web3 integrations, and Solidity smart contracts. I’m currently part of a hands-on Blockchain Accelerator, where I’ve built more than 15 blockchain projects across DeFi, tokenomics, and smart contract security.

Recently, I designed and implemented the smart contracts for a decentralized aviation turnaround system during the Camino Network & Vueling challenge at Decode Travel Barcelona 2025. The system modeled real-world operational workflows on-chain, tracking tasks, deadlines, KPIs, and issuing verifiable certificates, with ERC-721 NFT incentives for strong performance.

Today, my work focuses on:
- Solidity smart contracts designed for production use
- DeFi primitives such as DEXs, liquidity pools, and lending/borrowing
- On-chain SLAs, KPIs, and incentive mechanisms
- Backend systems that bridge Web2 infrastructure with Web3 protocols

I value engineering rigor, clarity of logic, and systems that work beyond demos and proofs of concept.

Experience

Hackathon Winner – Smart Contract Engineer
Camino Network & Vueling (Hackathon)
2025 - 2025
Winner of the “Blockchain-based turnaround checklist” challenge at Decode Travel Barcelona 2025. I designed and implemented the smart contract system for a decentralized aviation turnaround solution on Camino Network. Key contributions: • Modeled each flight turnaround as a smart contract • Tracked ground operations tasks (fuel, cleaning, baggage, boarding) on-chain • Implemented SLA deadlines and automated KPI computation • Generated verifiable on-chain turnaround certificates • Designed ERC-721 NFT badges rewarding perfect execution, with metadata stored on IPFS This project demonstrates my ability to translate real-world operational processes into secure, production-ready smart contracts.
Full-Stack / Blockchain Engineer
A3M Global Monitoring GmbH
2023 - 2026
I work on the design and development of production-grade backend systems for a global monitoring and crisis-management platform, with a strong focus on security, reliability, and scalability. Key responsibilities: • Design and implement Java & Spring Boot services used in mission-critical environments • Build secure authentication and identity flows using Keycloak (OIDC / JWT) • Integrate Web3 and blockchain components into enterprise systems, bridging traditional infrastructure with decentralized technologies • Work with PostgreSQL, Dockerized deployments, and CI/CD pipelines This role reinforces how I approach blockchain development today: clear logic, explicit guarantees, and zero tolerance for hidden failure modes.
Full-Stack & Web3 Developer
Blockbites / Defdone
2022 - 2024
Worked as a Full-Stack and Web3 Developer, building decentralized and hybrid Web2/Web3 applications end to end. Key contributions: • Developed Web3-enabled applications using React, Node.js, and TypeScript • Designed and integrated Solidity smart contracts into production systems • Built wallet authentication flows and smart contract interaction layers • Focused on clean architecture, performance, and user experience This experience deepened my understanding of how smart contracts, frontends, and backend systems must work together to deliver usable Web3 products — not just demos.
Industrial Automation Engineering (Ford, Gestamp, Volkswagen)
Automation Engineer / Controls Engineer
2010 - 2021
Before Web3, I spent over a decade building mission-critical industrial automation systems for automotive manufacturing plants across Europe. I worked on: • Programming and commissioning production lines under strict SLA and safety constraints • Delivering systems where downtime, race conditions, or undefined states were unacceptable • Coordinating across mechanical, electrical, and software teams in high-pressure environments This background fundamentally shapes how I build smart contracts today: smart contracts are industrial systems — they must be correct, predictable, and resilient.
