I led the company’s pivot into Torum V2, repositioning the product as an AR-powered SocialFi platform tailored for NFT-native users. I defined the product vision and oversaw execution across key components including video feeds, social interactions, gamification mechanics, Web3 onboarding flows, and the public landing website. I managed a 40-member cross-functional team spanning product, engineering, design, and user research, aligning efforts around the new strategic direction. As market conditions shifted, I executed a controlled soft-launch followed by a structured hibernation strategy, stabilizing operations and reallocating resources toward the development of TorumPay.

I led product and branding strategy, design, and delivery for TorumPay’s regulated digital asset exchange across mobile, web, and internal admin systems. I worked at the intersection of product, compliance, and engineering to deliver secure, regulator-aligned user experiences under the Securities Commission Malaysia’s DAX-RMO guidelines. Acting as product owner, I coordinated design, engineering, compliance, legal, and operations to achieve full go-live readiness. I also played a key role in securing TorumPay’s Approval-In-Principle (AIP) license by contributing to regulatory submissions and rulebook development.

I conceived, designed, and led the launch of Torum V1, a crypto-centric social media platform across web and mobile. The platform scaled to 250,000 registered users and reached 10,000 daily active users globally at its peak. I owned product strategy and UI/UX across core features including posting, commenting, chat, onboarding, and gamification, while integrating NFT marketplace and DeFi modules directly into the social ecosystem. In parallel, I built and maintained Torum’s design system, branding, and typography to ensure long-term product consistency. Throughout the product lifecycle, I leveraged user research and analytics to drive iterative improvements and strengthen engagement and retention.
