I'm a third-year computer engineering major looking for a summer internship/fall co-op. I've been programming since 2019, primarily in Java and Python. For my last internship, I led a web application project that allowed users to extract text and data from PDF documents by selecting a cell in an HTML table and drawing boxes around the text, populating the cell with the selected text. This project used Django as the web framework, and the UI/UX was created with HTML and extensive JavaScript. A RESTful API backend was also created using FastAPI. I gained a lot of experience in Python, JavaScript, web frameworks, UI and API development, git, and overall good software design practices. I am looking for experiences where I can work with new technologies and make meaningful connections with other developers.
