At Keep, I work primarily on the loan management system within the Capital team and lead frontend architecture improvements through the frontend guild. Key achievements include reducing network requests by ~60% to boost web performance, contributing to $220K+ in revenue via loan fee features, and helping migrate 100% of the system to a new in-house ledger. As a founding engineer, I built end-to-end features during the company’s early stage and led improvements to the UI and design system using design tokens. I mainly worked on developing new features for the fulfillment web application. One of my main contributions was migrating about 70% of the fulfillment project codebase from legacy JavaScript code into Typescript. I had a leadership role in the new UI library, where I got involved in the software design process to ensure a good architecture and developer experience. I worked with full-stack applications focused on the real estate industry. Here I got the opportunity to dive into web accessibility, which led me to encourage the engineering team to follow a11y practices and advocate testing practices in web applications. I also took on the leadership of the frontend team for a project, where my responsibilities included meeting with stakeholders, implementing the app's features with other engineers, and demoing to clients. My contributions included developing landing pages, creating tools to dispute people’s debt in the US, and creating web components for people to donate to the organization. I contributed to increasing the organization's revenue by 20% by putting in place a Donation widget that allows our visitors to donate more conveniently. My primary contributions included designing and managing the session management API, creating a tailored web application for internal use, and developing the property marketplace feature, all of which were vital for the project's success. I also initiated and integrated front-end testing practices across the web application, ensuring a more robust and error-free user experience. Tech stack: Node.js, Postgres, and React.
