Senior Solidity Developer
About six years ago, I started programming professionally, initially working with the Python+Django stack. My first project was developing a website for a network of children's robotics clubs, which they used for about two years. It was an interesting experience, but I realized that front-end development wasn’t quite my thing.
Then, during the crypto boom in 2021, I got curious and began learning smart contract development. Within six months, I received a job offer from some acquaintances who were looking for developers to join their team. Together, we formed a small but tight-knit company and started taking on projects. One of our first major clients was Algem.io, a liquid staking protocol on the Astar blockchain. As fate would have it, I became a core part of this project and remain a full-time developer with them to this day. Over the past four years, we’ve released multiple iterations of the protocol, updated contract code with Astar’s precompiled contract upgrades, transitioned to the Soneium chain, and built adapters for interacting with Uniswap-like DEXs and Aave-like lending protocols. We’ve also gone through numerous audits with companies like Quantstamp, PeckShield, Dedaub, and Hashlock.
Starting in 2025, our team began working on a new project that’s currently in active development and slated for launch on the BNB chain soon. As a Solidity developer, my responsibilities included developing, testing, and maintaining smart contracts, as well as preparing for audits. However, due to limited manpower on this new project, I also took on roles as a front-end and back-end developer. I’m not sure I could’ve managed such tight deadlines without the help of powerful AI tools. This project gave me invaluable experience with tools like IPFS (Pinata), TheGraph, PostgreSQL (Supabase), and many others.
Right now, I’m exploring new opportunities since our new project is set to launch by the end of the year, after which my involvement will significantly decrease, freeing up time for new projects. I’d love to contribute to exciting initiatives and bring my skills to the table.
