Intern

Hey there 👋

I'm a 16 y/o from Lisbon (but currently living in India for an exchange programme of two years) who is working in some pretty legit stuff in DeFI applications of Solana.

I'm a deep-thinker who has been obsessed with financial inclusion for years and realized in the last months that blockchain is the only possible solution to this issue since the financial system failed in all its attempts to solve it.

Recently I published my first article exploring how blockchain can be applied to develop a safer biometric authentication mechanism (https://medium.com/@miguel.canas.304/how-can-blockchain-be-the-way-to-ensure-the-safety-of-biometrics-a0a212368af6)
and now I'm developing my first Solana project.

Blockchain just by itself is meaningless, however, when applied to the world big problems, it can generate a profound impact in the lives of billions of people.

When I was younger I used to think that politics was the best way to change the world. Even tough I don't deny the importance of politics, today I understand that blockchain is the way in which my desire to create a positive impact can be better enhanced.

While taking this deep dive in the ways that blockchain can be used to bank the unbanked, I'm willing to collaborate with projects and companies that want to use the blockchain as me - to change the world block by block.

Because as my father once told me: "When you dedicate your life to the others, you'll gain their respect." This sentence has served as a motto to my life for the last years and today it's what makes me strive to learn the most that I can about blockchain.
