Mobile Application: - Lead developer for the mobile app “LTCApp” that allow drivers of logistic companies to report their delivery progress and submit documents. Distributed to App Store and Google Play, used by more than 300 drivers daily. - Developed Optical Character Recognition (OCR) functionality, where the app extracts data from a document image using Microsoft Azure AI Document Intelligent. The data is then used to auto-fill dispatch information for the driver. Eliminates human error and speed up progress. - Developed auto-cropping feature for document scanning, utilizing “react-native-rectangle-scanner” library. Help drivers to submit clearer images of their dispatch documents. - Other notable features: Dispatch route on map, document signature, in-app command line tool, driver comment. (React Native, Azure, JavaScript, TypeScript) Web Application: - Developed and maintained Angular web application for dispatchers to manage logistic dispatches. - Developed a drag-and-drop trip planning feature for dispatchers to easily assign, reorder and modify dispatches, which significantly increases the efficiency of the dispatcher’s workflow. - Integrated Samsara’s API to get driver’s hours of service to help dispatchers in dispatch planning.
