Marketing & Event Manager

I am an experienced Marketing Events Manager, Marketing Project Manager and PR Manager. I have lived and worked in London for 10 years but I have now relocated to Zug in Switzerland.
I am looking for a full-time permanent position as a Global Events Manager, on a remote basis, with a company that is disruptive and operates with purpose on a global scale.

In the meantime, I am learning German whilst freelancing and supporting clients – old and new, on a variety of missions and exciting projects, widening the scope of my experience and tapping into new industries.

I have specialized in the wine & drinks industry for 10 years, but I am now looking to challenge myself and extend the scope of my experience by reaching into new industries that fascinate me for the potential they offer. I am specifically interested in SaaS, Web3 and Cryptocurrencies and would love the opportunity to tap into these sectors. I may not have previous experience in Tech, Web3 or Cryptocurrencies yet - and I know it can be daunting for Hiring Managers, but experience is something one builds. I truly believe in transferrable skills and in the benefits of bringing in diverse profiles and backgrounds to a team as an accelerator of creativity, innovation and success. I am a keen and curious enthusiast and I learn very fast when I feel passionately about a subject.

Over the past 10 years, I have gained experience in PR and Marketing (traditional and digital). I love creating and delivering fully-integrated Marketing campaigns but I have naturally specialised in Events Management. It is a vocation: I love it and I am quite good at it.

I deliver full-cycle multi-channel event campaigns from conception and planning to delivery and evaluation, including all operational management as well as event marketing and promotion.

I have been lucky enough to have worked on a diversity projects with a variety of clients, companies
and teams globally across the UK, Europe, APAC and the Americas.
The diversity of my responsibilities and the multidimension of my job (missions, tasks, stakeholders,
markets, clients, languages, tools, audiences – B2B and B2C) are a real motivation and a great source of inspiration.

For every project I manage, I foster relationship and collaboration, capitalizing on individuals’, teams’
and collaborators’ respective set of skills, knowledge, experience and strengths to drive success and better reach our objectives.

During my time working for the Wine and Spirit Education Trust, I have delivered events and projects across all their markets globally (UK, EMEA, APAC & Americas) in total collaboration with our Marketing teams, our Sales teams & with our ambassadors (speakers and industry leaders) locally.

When the global pandemic hit, I have been asked to spearhead the transition of our Events team to digital, essentially recalibrating our Events Calendar and activities from mostly in-person to primarily digital.

My efforts ultimately led to the conception, creation and deployment of our first Global Summit in January 2021, followed by the conception, creation and launch of our first fully virtual events program and content hub for our current Academic Year 2021-2022, amongst other projects.

Lately, I have delivered Community Week 2022 for The Internet Society (5-6 September). We delivered a full programme of talks, conferences and networking sessions hosted by more than 40 speakers. This 2-days summit was held entirely online and we received 1500+ live unique visitors for
the occasion.

My organisational skills come naturally to me and I have no concern managing a variety of events and projects simultaneously.

I am also a great problem solver, partly because I have a great ability to remain calm under pressure when challenges arise.

I greatly enjoy coming up with new creative ideas and concepts and testing new tools.
As a Marketer and Events Manager, I believe it is foremost to remain in touch with the industries I operate in, follow conversations and trends, engage with opinion leaders and influencers whilst keeping up with the latest event management and delivery tools, technologies and practices, in order
to create events and experiences that are relevant to our customers, community and stakeholders.
