Contributed to a large-scale migration at EE, one of the UK's largest mobile providers, from Native coded apps on the iOS App Store and Google Play Store, with over 1 million users, to Flutter to reduce tech costs by hundreds of thousands a year. Responsible for implementing redesigns of the online shop using a clean architecture structure with Bloc state management and Freezed with graph ql backend. Created rigorous unit tests and golden tests using Mockito, ensuring non-regression before PR merge using Bitbucket. Responsible for implementing wide accessibility and semantics features throughout the app, increasing user engagement by a 1%. Collaborated effectively with colleagues across 5+ time zones using Agile, scrum and Jira to work cohesively

Paid work for small start-ups, gaining in-depth experience in React/Firebase by building entirely functioning full-stack websites. The company, Potential, needed quick websites built using NextJs to run ads for different services. For the Company Columba, I built a React/Firebase website, which was used to manage deal flow for an agency. This allowed the company and customers to manage all current deals visually.

Shift, a start-up described as Uber for removal vans, with its apps written in Dart with Flutter, had 1,000+ users, and the versions developed during my time there allowed it to raise millions in funding in the initial stages. We implemented Provider initially and then moved to GetX for state management as we moved to a clean architecture to scale the app from 4000 to 10,000+ users. Redesign of the state, as well as design-driven UI, allowed for a better user experience, increasing the Trustpilot score from 1 to 3.5. Fixed bugs and implemented small features using Node JS as the backend stack

Enerygym was a grassroots green energy start-up, converting energy from gym bikes into money via an app. I collaborated with others in a small team using Flutter/Dart and Firebase. Well as this, we created React web applications all interfacing with electrical mechanics and hardware such as Arduino and Raspberry Pi’s. Co-developed and launched several interactive app-based gaming demos, linking with mechanical software and Raspberry Pis, including racing games in which players compete over electricity generated. Our demo presentations established essential partnerships with Gymshark and Gymbox and were vital in securing early investment.
