Before I wrote a line of production code, I spent 2021–2023 living inside DeFi as a portfolio strategist — reading protocol whitepapers from first principles (starting with Bitcoin, not summaries or influencer takes), actively managing a diversified crypto portfolio across Ethereum mainnet and L2s (Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon), providing liquidity, staking for yield, and running my own risk-monitoring workflows under self-custody (MetaMask/Ledger).

In 2024 I turned that domain fluency into software engineering. My flagship project, DeFiScout, is a Uniswap V3 pool analytics and LP strategy simulator — I implemented the concentrated-liquidity math straight from the whitepaper (not the SDK), handled BigInt precision for on-chain values past `Number.MAX_SAFE_INTEGER`, and replaced 40 sequential REST calls with a single batched TheGraph/GraphQL query.

Stack: React 19, TypeScript, GraphQL/TheGraph, Firebase, Tailwind, Vitest. I read on-chain data — I don't author smart contracts.
