I have internship experience as real work experience by participating in the Field Work Program (PKL) when I was in the middle of my 11th grade semester, which lasted for 6 months at the JW Marriott Hotel Surabaya, from March 12, 2024 to September 18, 2024. At my internship, I learned various things as knowledge to prepare for future work. There, I was a trainee, guided, shadowed (monitored), and given training for the first three months to adapt. I learned various things, such as manners, etiquette, decorum, and attitude (5-star hotel), customer service (guests and employees), decision-making (prioritizing conflicting interests), working professionally, problem-solving, LAN cable crimping, troubleshooting internet/network issues, troubleshooting PCs/computers, troubleshooting laptops, troubleshooting PC/computer monitors, troubleshooting motherboards, troubleshooting access points (AP), troubleshooting switches, troubleshooting routers, troubleshooting printers, routine maintenance of server rooms and servers (LAN cables), data backup, data restore/recovery, setting up LAN cables (for events, meetings, etc.), operating the basics of PMS OPERA, administration (management, administration, and recording of IT inventory). After that, in the last 3 months, I applied what I learned during the first 3 months to adapt independently at my internship.
