Coded an on-chain program for the Solana blockchain using anchor and released it to devnet. Allows customers to sell their physical collectibles on our decentralized marketplace using embedded NFC chips. Automatically transfers royalties to company and program on completed transfer. Designed and developed a decentralized dApp using flutter. Forked the espresso-cash-public repository and wrote my own connection for the on-chain program. Customers can interact with the blockchain and authorize transactions. Researched and implemented the Token-Extensions-2022 library for the on-chain program. Permanent delegate, group pointer, metadata pointer, transfer hook. Programmed a way for users to convert USD into our custom token (Cove token), which is held in limbo during the shipping process, after which it can be converted back into USD. Wrote the backend web2 infrastructure in C# using clean architecture. Wrote authentication using firebase with options for email, Google, and Facebook. Planned for authorization by ensuring security is a first thought instead of an afterthought, enforced this through the architecture (validation layers, separate business logic, etc).

Brainstormed, scoped, and programmed the release of custom shape library sharing for our core product Lucid Chart. Wrote several endpoints in scala and connected to those endpoints in typescript. Developed a complex yet simple macro that automatically converted scala endpoints into typescript code for frontend engineers, used by the whole organization. Released commenting for Lucid Chart and Lucid Spark, allowing customers to communicate better on their documents. Worked every day with an amazing team, followed agile practices and pivoted quickly when necessary.

Led a Software development team of 3-5 developers using Azure DevOps. Worked with a data analysist to refactor an existing LMR (last mile routing) algorithm to optimize many truck routes in parallel. Wrote an address validation API to validate incoming addresses from customers in real time (using caching to save resources). Used Azure Batch Service to lower run times of optimizations from hours to 10 minutes (achieved by routing tasks to new or existing nodes). Developed the backend (read, write, update, etc.) using Azure Cosmos DB API for the front-end developers. Released production code continually with my team that produced over thousands of optimized trucking routes every day. Applied agile working methods to ensure team meets objectives. Envisioned the project end goal and adapted to customer needs. Created a positive culture and environment to promote new ideas and thinking. Oversaw multiple software development projects from beginning to end. Scaled servers horizontally and vertically on-demand based on workload. Studied at Utah State University while working full time.

Refactored existing software to work with both Clover and Poynt POS systems using Xamarin Forms. Partnered with third party resellers to distribute software. Created business deals with resellers to add more subscriptions to software. Listened to feedback from customers to add new features and improve existing features. Connected to Poynt API and released a new Poynt application to the IOS store.
