Led architecture, technical decisions, and deployments for Node.js and TypeScript microservices supporting more than 1 million daily database-backed operations. Designed MongoDB and PostgreSQL schemas, indexes, views, and stored procedures. Replaced real-time aggregation over large production datasets with scheduled summaries and compact daily tables; archived raw records older than seven days to keep operational, compliance, and reporting queries predictable. Partnered with risk and compliance teams to define and audit GGR, NGR, tax, and SIGAP logic. Implemented daily and monthly submissions, third-party file validation, and real-time n8n alerts to Slack, while contributing to a React and Next.js live football match viewer.

Led backend development and technical decisions for a Brazilian online betting platform, contributing to frontend delivery and production improvements across core customer workflows. Reworked inherited MongoDB and PostgreSQL schemas, indexes, aggregation patterns, and queries to reduce unnecessary data retrieval; established data-design practices later used to build TQJ’s database and reporting architecture from the ground up.

Led the Node.js, TypeScript, and MongoDB backend from inception, then assumed ownership of the React and TypeScript frontend for an Italian-citizenship document-analysis platform. Built a multi-stage agentic pipeline combining Tesseract OCR and the OpenAI API to extract, normalize, and structure document data. Persisted source images and intermediate and validated results in MongoDB to avoid redundant OCR processing and LLM calls across repeated workflows. Converted citizenship specialists’ workflows into eligibility checks, field validation, cross-document verification, inconsistency detection, and report generation, reducing a complete pre-submission review from days of specialist work to approximately 30 minutes.

Co-architected the initial MVP for a zero-knowledge digital-signature platform as one of two engineers, collaborating with product and commercial leads through fundraising and partner demos. Designed Solidity wallet, signing, and validator contracts and integrated Polygon wallet control into the mobile client; built the web interface for signature management and validation.

Led the React and TypeScript frontend and Node.js off-chain services, integrating Web3 functionality with ethers.js and supporting a hybrid on-chain/off-chain order book. Led oracle-contract development and upgraded Solidity vault, oracle, and proxy contracts as product definitions evolved; served as the primary reviewer of protocol calculations and built a data pipeline that processed every block into daily aggregates for oracle and off-chain services. Identified an adversarial economic edge case where miner incentives could make strategic default profitable and put multiple contracts at risk; partnered with product to revise the protocol logic before release.

Led a near-total rebuild of an on-demand beauty-services marketplace, replacing broken .NET and Ionic applications with Node.js, Express, TypeScript, and React. Owned booking, scheduling, geofencing, customer, professional, and payment workflows across backend and web frontend. Designed proximity-aware scheduling that prevented overlapping appointments while allowing for travel time; secured exposed data, repaired inconsistent records, introduced system-wide validation, migrated SQL Server data to MongoDB, and managed AWS and Apache deployments.

Built a Node.js, TypeScript, Express, and React integration with hospital systems and synchronized OracleDB data to verify operating-room, clinical-team, and resource availability for surgical scheduling; deployed the solution to AWS with Apache.

Built the backend and later the web frontend for a gated-community platform developed with a major Brazilian access-control provider, delivering resident and household management, guest authorization, reservations, and facial-recognition access as a base for later product expansion. Led frontend and backend development for a Cargill agritech platform, designing conflict-safe synchronization between local and remote databases over intermittent rural radio connections to transfer high-resolution imagery and AI-generated outputs for remote farm monitoring.
