Lab Setup and Configuration: Assist in setting up computer workstations and configuring software environments for different programming languages, tools and frameworks. Hardware maintenance: Regularly inspecting, cleaning and maintaining the labs hardware, peripherals and networking equipment to ensure proper functionality. Software Installation and Updates: Troubleshooting and Technical support: Providing technical support to students and faculty members using the lab, helping them with software/ hardware-related issues. Security and Access Control: enforcing security measures to protect lab resources and ensure that only authorized individuals have access to the lab. Lab Resource Management: Keeping an inventory of lab equipment and assisting in procuring any necessary resources as directed by the lab supervisor. Lab monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor lab activity, ensuring a conducive and organized environment, and reporting any irregularities/ technical malfunctions to higher authorities. Lab Improvements and Innovations: Identify opportunities to enhance the lab infrastructure, proposing improvements or innovative solutions to enhance the learning experience.
