I'm a second-year Computer Science student at the University of Trento, the course is taught entirely in English, which has helped me grow not just academically but also from a communicational point of view, working daily with people from all over the world.
The project that I'm proudest of is a real-time speech transcription system written in Python: a multi-threaded pipeline based on the Producer-Consumer pattern, with automatic voice activity detection, adaptive ambient noise calibration, and integration with Faster-Whisper for low-latency transcription. Alongside that, in my first programming courses (C++ and Java) I built complete applications: a car rental system, a bike shop platform, a food delivery service, not just to pass my exams, but to actually understand how to create a system from zero.
Outside of computer science, the experience that shaped me most was working as a National Session Organiser for the European Youth Parliament, where I helped coordinate over 140 international delegates in a multicultural, debate-driven environment alongside a team of volunteers.
I'm early in my career, but I'm looking for a place where I can keep learning, from people working on real systems.
