Coordination of the monthly accounting close for 3 countries with annual earnings of USD 80 million, involving 8 internal teams. • Supervision of the general ledger with approximately 20,000 financial entries. • Preparation of 40 annual reports (IFRS/US GAAP/Management) for investors, regulators and management — Capital, Operating Expenses and Taxes.• FP&A and management reporting: P&L analysis, KPI tracking, budget vs. actual variance analysis and corrective actions across Capital, OPEX and Tax lines; supported the annual budget cycle and forecast revisions across 3 countries, with reporting to U.S. headquarters. • Execution of SAP system routines for the consolidation of accounting books: analysis, corrections, period opening and closing. • Maintenance of accounting elements (cost centers and accounts) and communication with business areas for the recording of relevant financial events. • Key achievement: led the ERP (SAP) migration project of 70 accounting balance sheets for Upstream operations in Egypt, Cyprus, Greece and Algeria, involving 25 people across 4 continents, with task and sprint management via Azure DevOps. Implemented a verification system for 50+ countries' accounting books via Power Query and Power BI.
