Armed with dual B.Sc degrees in Computer Science and AI, I embarked on a decades-long career in back-end software engineering. My journey took an exciting turn six years ago when my open-source contributions in decentralized systems led me to a specialized role at Stratis Platform, a pioneer in C#-based blockchain technology. I secured my recent stint at Stratis through a public competition, focusing on the then-upcoming cold staking feature.

At Stratis, I've honed a diverse skill set spanning Agile development and Web 3 technologies. Notable achievements include leading the GBPT stable coin project that leverages Open Banking APIs and architecting features like cold staking and sidechains. I've also delved into the intricacies of Bitcoin Script, Multisig, and Smart Contracts, incorporating Solidity and standards like ERC-20 and EIP-712.

My development philosophy is rooted in Agile methodologies and complemented by a CI-CD pipeline, ensuring we make regular, high-quality public releases.

Before joining Stratis, I spent nearly a decade at Computer Sciences Corporation, focusing on MSSQL databases and C# (.NET) tool development. Earlier, I was an early team member at UCS Software and a contractor. My first role at Denel involved crafting cryptographic implementations and leading the development of a widely acclaimed PC security system.

Tracing back to my teenage years, my love for technology emerged when I got my hands on an Apple II+ at 14. I was coding in assembler and crafting games, fuelled by an insatiable curiosity and a desire for challenges. Interestingly, Elon Musk, who lived a few hours' drive away, embarked on a similar path around the same time.

Throughout my career, my mission has remained steadfast: to foster the adoption of ground-breaking technologies and deliver client solutions that exceed expectations.
