TECDP Lead Analyst
Evernorth 2019 - 2021
- Worked on implementing blockchain solutions (backend and smart contracts) with Golang and Node.js for Cigna involving various use cases with Hyperledger Fabric. This is part of Cigna’s involvement with IBM’s Health Utility Network (HUN) consortium with other health insurance companies. - Worked on GitRDoneBot (GRDB), a Typescript based GitLab tool that encourages best Git practices from research through nudge theory by monitoring a project’s merge requests and commit style and providing feedback. Also worked on GRDB-CTL, a Python based command line companion tool that helps first time Git users to easily setup preconfigured Git projects with settings that align with best practices. - Worked on Slurpnado, a Rust based GitLab analytics tool that assists GRDB. - Worked on the Cigna Tech Conference site backend with Golang, GraphQL, and DynamoDB. Since the backend is designed to be loosely coupled, it would serve as a template for future Cigna conferences. - Worked on the Golang serverless backend (with GraphQL and AWS) of the CoachRX web app for pharmacists to manage customer and case data.
TECDP Intern
Cigna 2018 - 2018
Software engineering internship working under Kevin Ryan in the Software Engineering and Innovation (SE&I) Group as an Application Developer. Performed DevOps work with Jenkins, TFS, Ansible, Linux, HockeyApp, and GitLab for various projects. Implemented a blockchain network with Hyperledger Fabric, Docker, Node.js, Go, AWS EC2, and CouchDB for the provider sync problem under the summer innovation project. Won third place.
Researcher
University of Pittsburg 2016 - 2018
CS Investigator at Benos Lab of the University of Pittsburgh, Department of Computational & Systems Biology under the guidance of Dr. Takis Benos and Vineet Raghu. Research consists of analyzing and comparing the performance of different causal graphical modelling algorithms under various data types and assumptions. These machine learning algorithms aid in finding causes of various diseases. Researched under Dr. Ken Jordan from the Department of Chemistry for the First-Experiences in Research program. Developed programs in Python and Java that integrated the Monte Carlo algorithm in different problems such as Random Walk, Approximation of PI, Harmonic Potential, Lennard-Jones Potential, and the 2D Ising model.
