I have worked for almost 5 years now as a professional web developer, using Yii2, a PHP framework to tackle both the front and back ends of several web applications. Alongside these technologies, I have extensive professional experience with JavaScript, mainly jQuery, and bootstrap.

Academically, I have a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and have built several kinds of software using a variety of languages from C# to Python and my dissertation envolved creating a cryptocurrency trading simulator that allowed its users to find the most optimal configuration for a specific trading strategy named "grid trading".

I am preferably interested in a backend developer role though I do not mind being on the frontend, as I do have experience with both. Additionally, though more experienced in not so modern web technologies such as PHP, I am very confident in my ability to transfer these skills to more modern tech like Node.js and the like, and I more than welcome a role that allows me to do that.
