Post-Seed DePIN Startup Designed a novel protocol for untrusted non-deterministic compute providers. It makes cheating irrational and the prevention of convergence byzantine by extending prior work with a multi-round mechanism achieving the best overhead in the AI DePIN industry (~3% for training, ~1% for inference). Solved for a complicated game theoretic equilibrium involving a geometric sum; accomplished by hand because the math was too difficult for the latest AI models. Research report on all methods of verifying decentralized AI computation. Contributed research + related works for a breakthrough paper https://arxiv.org/pdf/2501.16007 that reduces the cost of verifying inference computation by 100x.

Evaluated and financially simulated interest rate mechanisms. Discovered issues like liquidity outages for highly correlated assets, and crippling inefficiencies in long tail edge cases. No major issues were discovered.

Consulting. Discovered a simple method to increase the capital efficiency of any existing CDP protocol by about 10% without increasing risk. Proposed 2 novel automating mechanisms to safely remove the need for humans to approve new collateral types.

Hired by Mycelium / TracerDAO to invent novel market mechanisms. Discovered a more optimal way for option markets to be structured where both counterparties are better off than a traditional order book.

Returned to IT for 2 years as L1/L2 support. 3 person team serving 400.
