My career path has been unconventional, driven by a desire to challenge norms and carve my own way in life. This mindset naturally led me to Web3 around four years ago. Since then, I’ve immersed myself in blockchain technology, initially diving deeper into Bitcoin, then Ethereum, and now Polkadot, as well as various Layer 2 solutions. Despite not having a technical background, I’ve honed the ability to articulate complex concepts in an accessible way—an asset for any company aiming to broaden its reach.
To share these insights, I created the Kudurru.substack blog, which breaks down complex decentralised technologies and their use cases. The blog serves as both a portfolio of my thoughts and a hub for those new to the space, helping them understand why Web3 is important and how it surpasses traditional networks.
Over the past two years, I directed a successful private events company in the UK, where I managed everything from lead generation and brand development to sales and event execution. I’m proud of my accomplishments, including a strong final P&L and flawless reviews. Now, my passion lies in pivoting to Web3, where I’m eager to apply my skills in a Business Development or Events Manager role, contributing fresh perspectives and driving industry growth.
Before this, I served as Marketing Manager for a jewelry company in Edinburgh. During my tenure, I boosted key metrics such as email CTR, social media engagement, new followers, and SEO optimization. While my strengths lie in sales and events, my marketing background reinforces brand identity and helps create engaging content that fosters long-term client relationships.
Earlier in my career, I launched a streetwear and NFT brand, where I handled influencer collaborations, managed photo shoots with high-profile models, and built relationships with manufacturers and distributors. Each garment was paired with an NFT, which remains in customers' wallets today. Although this business was not profitable long-term, I’m proud of the innovative strategies I implemented, and I’m no stranger to integrating Web3 concepts into traditional businesses.
While my formal experience in the Web3 industry is just beginning, I’m determined to dive in, learn its intricacies, and leverage my diverse expertise to build a long-term, value-driven career. I’m ready to bring my performance-driven, charismatic approach to new challenges, helping businesses in the Web3 space thrive.
