Migrated the search experience from a legacy React/Redux setup to Walmart's GLASS framework and Next.js/GraphQL, improving rendering performance, simplifying server-side logic, and aligning with Walmart's modern frontend architecture strategy. Implemented an GenAI-powered search page, providing personalized search results, improving search relevance and user satisfaction. Worked across the full spectrum of search page components—both critical and supporting—including the search bar, intelligent filters, quantity stepper, brand amplifier module, VAST-compliant video ads player, and search result cards and their back faces—either building them from scratch, enhancing existing features, or refactoring legacy implementations. These efforts, among many other components and features, led to a significantly more cohesive, performant, and user-centric search experience, ultimately contributing to hundreds of millions in revenue growth. Migrated from Enzyme to React Testing Library and introduced TypeScript across 200+ files, improving test reliability and code quality.
