My first job was a contract based job back in 2020 during the COVID-19 Lockdown where i worked a s the frontend developer for a Read-At-Home-Initiative that provided younger students with a platform to keep up with their studies while at home.

While working at this position I learnt how to work in fast paced organization and I also learned the inmportance of genuinely and thoroughly understanding web development tools and software and how to efficiently apply them to achieve certain results and demands.

I then moved on to my next Job where I worked as part of a team to build a unique podcasting web application.


Within this role I was responsible for delegating tasks to other front end developers, defining the standard practices for file organization and code deployment for the various frameworks and tools.

 This was to ensure that even though the developers were working on the projects individually, the merging of the various parts of the project into one would be seamless and reduce the time spent on debugging code.

A key achievement within this role was where I mentored and taught some of the developers who were new to version control, the basics of git and the best practices of the software, which enabled them to implement features to the project without breaking the application.

I then took on a contract based Job as a front-end developer for ASTAL (Advanced Space Technology Applications Laboratory) creating a weather forecasting web and mobile application

This was a role I enjoyed quite well due to its fast paced and innovative nature.

Within this role I was responsible for the Front end development of the project. I was also responsible for the advicing on the most efficient course of action as regards the deployment of the project and also suggesting efficient methods and procedures on executing the project.

A key achievent while I worked on this project was my ability to take on the mobile development of the application when it was observed that the mobile application alongside a web application would be an efficient course of action.

 In all job positions that i have held. I always focus on adding value to the organization. 

I also explore new ways of helping the business grow and helping my teamates complete their tasks on time and to the right standard, going above and beyond to make sure that the client's or company's goals and objectives are achieved and looking at ways I could learn and develop new skills to stay at the top of my work.
