Smart Contract Engineer

I'm a smart contract engineer who is heavily Ethereum aligned. I started in Crypto in 2019 while I was pursuing my bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Cybersecurity. Then I went on the graduate school to earn my masters degree in Cybersecurity focusing on blockchains and cryptocurrency. I wrote my masters thesis on countering economic attacks on DAO governance with confidential DAO-vote-bribery mechanisms. After that I worked at a startup, Revest Finance, where I was the second employee and first developer chiefly responsible for a DeFi protocol called Resonate, which offered interest rate swaps and derivatives as well as fixed rate positions on blue-chip defi protocols. After 2 years there I left and worked at Chainlink Labs on CCIP, the cross-chain interoperability protocol where I worked as a smart contract engineer as well, almost entirely in Solidity. I was responsible for maintaining the core cross-chain protocol and new integrations for tokens and chains with unique mechanisms as well as coordination of the smart contracts for user-facing tools and non-EVM networks as well. I'm looking for a new opportunity in the Web3 space focusing on Solidity and Ethereum. I have experience as well with JS, Golang, and some Rust. I am an American Citizen located in US-Central time (UCT-6) and comfortable working in an entirely remote environment.

Experience

Smart Contract Engineer
Chainlink Labs
2024 - 2025
1. Developed high-level smart contracts for secure cross-chain bridging service supporting 200+ tokens and 75+ EVM compatible L1’s and L2’s as well as alternative L1-ecosystems including Solana, Aptos, and TON, which have to date collectively facilitated >$10B of volume. 2. Signed secure transactions for critical on-chain operations as part of a geographically distributed multi-signature wallet which controlled hundreds of millions of dollars. Responsible for orchestrating a $450M migration of multiple tokens from third party bridges to CCIP. 3. Directly led multiple external engagement with professional security firms to audit and deploy contracts securely. 4. Built end-to-end integration and deployment tests in across multiple chains using solidity and go. 5. Independently led bi-weekly Solidity learning sessions with fellow engineers on new developments in the cryptocurrency industry 6. Coordinated closely with go-to-market team to craft solutions to complex problems and release new features for enterprise customers. 7. Comfortable working in a global remote-first environment and working on long-term projects independently with minimal oversight
