I would like to admit from the off that I am not the most qualified for the role, at least not by conventional standards. All I have learnt about building Dapps and Blockchain solutions, I learned through self directed methods drawing on a multitude of sources to expand my knowledge base. This year I’ve focused more on understanding the underlying technologies that make a Blockchain whole, in the process I’ve been able to learn, read and write Go code with proficiency, a fact I can’t wait to prove. 

As an individual with a nose for unearthing and deconstructing complexities within systems, my commitment, drive and dedication to exploring all of the possibilities available within the web3 paradigm will be of value to future employers. Pioneering work thrills me and I am excited for what future offerings are to come from the blockchain ecosystem, what even excites me more is the opportunity to contribute within this system. While I may lag behind some of my contemporaries of the more conventional derivation, I bring with me a wealth of experience in problem solving and delineation as I consider deconstructing and understanding complex systems to be my strongest quality. 

It is my hope that I am given due consideration for roles as I am more than qualified and if given the opportunity to be assessed based on my skillset I will leave no doubts as to my suitability. I believe at this stage what I need is to put my skills to the test in a production environment, as having participated in a few hackathon’s recently I realize for all I know there remains much more to be learned. The privilege to work within a team concept will be most appreciated by me as I believe the experience will only serve to broaden my knowledge base.
