Hi!

*Bio*: My name is James Kurtak, I am a 3x founder, DeFi enthusiast and strategic advisor for Web3. Additionally, I am coordinating two pop-up cities in Fukuoka, Japan (Bio-tech, AI & Crypto) and Chiang Mai, Thailand (Art & Web3) later this year.

*Experience*: While I possess an extensive background in Web3, (with experience predominantly in DeFi, GameFi and SoFi) I certainly didn't start there. With a double major in Economics and Spanish I decided I wanted to do something different. Getting my first job in tech as a QA resource, I taught myself to program, working as a full-stack engineer for 5 years.

I have since transitioned to a more strategic position as a founder of an indie game studio, a DeFi protocol and a  MetaVerse project. Taking a break as a founder, I now seek to leverage my experiences and connections as a founder to assist projects as an advisor/contractor.


*Skillset*: In my 4 years as an executive, I've worn many hats. Consequently, I am effective at team management, market analysis/strategy, and business development. Moreover, I possess high level contacts within the industry as well as an intimate pulse on Web3 trends.
