I want to be very honest with my bio here. I graduated as a mechanical engineer in 2018. I got good grades, I believed that getting good grades is enough to fetch me a good job. In 2018 to 2020, I worked in two tier 3 plastic parts manufacturing company. I wasn't even a direct employee, it was complete labour work that anyone can do. I know this is not right for me, so I left my job and then I prepared for government exams for 1 year (2020) during covid. 

It was during this preparation, I came to know many things which I had no idea of before, like economics, polity, International relations, technology, environmental science and much more. This is where i got my interest towards block chain (which combined the economics as well as technology particularly Defi). I decided to get into IT. 

Considering my background as a mechanical engineer and having a year gap during covid, companies were rejecting me, I kept on applying and got into Concentrix. The nature of the job was supporting US customers with their printer issues. I really liked the job , loved interacting with people and helping them. But the problem was it still didnt satisfy my interest of being a part of the future technology. I still kept on applying for technical role in IT, again got rejected many times(Since in India experience is your entry card), I also did a certificate course in java with selenium and looked for test engineer jobs. 

The institute I did this course asked me to put some fake experience and join companies at high Salary, which I rejected out rightly. I still looked for job, hoping someone would hire me. In the mean time i also watched some of my batch mates faking their experience and getting very high packages. I would feel depressed lot of times and question myself more and more still my heart never allowed me to cheat someone. 

One day I got an interview call from Amazon , for the role of test engineer. I was really happy with this opportunity and I grabbed it even though the salary is less compared to my present support job. At present I am still working in  Amazon, I love my work here but still I am not going to stop looking for the future and that is where I am trying to develop my skills and will keep on developing. The only problem here is my CTC is less compared to my peers. This is a problem because I do have lot of personal commitments to meet up on.

Nevertheless, when I look back on my journey, leaving the bad memories away , I have a combined experience of how various sectors function from manufacturing to assembly, from support to technology, from business to sales (my father own a shop), I feel I have matured enough to tackle any situations. 


So this is John and I am looking for an opportunity join the web3 world as soon as possible.
