• Elected the youngest ever Councillor to Bedford Borough Council, representing over 12,000 residents. Serving residents' & communities interests in the local council, campaigning for issues affecting them and holding the council to account. • Working with several different council departments, council leaders and political leaders to produce effective results for the residents of Bedford, whilst also steering department work and having a constructive role within department projects. • Demonstrating leadership to develop my ward and see my community through Brexit, covid-19, and a living crisis. • Understanding the roles and functions of statutory and non-statutory bodies in the field of local government to assist with development both in the council and across Bedfordshire. • Oversore community developments projects in my ward and commercial developments across Bedfordshire. Such as supporting the development of crypto backed football club Real Bedford. • Worked in a team of 16 councillors to effectively represent the residents of Bedfordshire, maintain a strong and successful council, whilst also developing Bedfordshire in an effective, sustainable and viable way. • Maintained and built community links, providing a strong level of accessibility for residents to communicate with me. • Chair of the licensing committee, spokesperson for the climate change and finance committee, whilst also sitting on six other committees.
